At Dominic College we are dedicated to fostering reconciliation by creating a learning environment that respects and values the histories, cultures, and ongoing contributions of First Nations peoples. We believe that reconciliation is essential in building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.

About our Reconciliation Action Plan

Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a formal commitment to reconciliation, registered with Reconciliation Australia and available on the Narragunnawali platform. It outlines key actions to embed First Nations histories, cultures, perspectives and families within the curriculum, while promoting cultural safety and inclusivity for all students and staff. The RAP also guides us in strengthening respectful relationships with our local First Nation communities.

A dedicated RAP Working Party, comprising of staff and community members regularly review the plan to ensure it remains relevant and effective. This team is responsible for driving the initiatives outlined in the RAP and for maintaining accountability as we work toward a school environment where First Nations contributions are valued and cultural safety is prioritised.
