Dominic college has proudly become the home of the first Liverpool Football Club International Academy in Tasmania, and the first school in Glenorchy to offer an in school soccer program delivered “The Liverpool Way”. This expansion will become a hub for exhilarating football training opportunities for the local and surrounding communities of Hobart.
The Vision
The Vision for the new high-performance soccer program at Dominic College is to use those combined resources to create an environment that mirrors the one experienced by players on a high-performance pathway in the UK. This means not only a high quality and authentic LFC football program developing players technically, tactically and physically but also input into social and mental development, career pathways and life skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership.
It will not only be players and students that benefit from this partnership. There will also be opportunities for local coaches to be comprehensively trained and accredited by LFC on this project. Developing local coaches through our education and development opportunities is a central component of our approach.

Skill Development Clinics
Our Skill Development Clinics consist of learning to play ‘The Liverpool Way’ via the technical development of areas such as ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting training, fun and games.
