Our Launch into Learning Program is for children 0–4 years of age and their parents, relatives or carers. The program recognises and reinforces our philosophy that parents are the primary educators and that the nature and quality of children’s experiences in the first phase of their life, before they commence school, is critical to their healthy development as learners. Our Launch into Learning Program supports transition into Kindergarten through a range of physical, social and emotional development activities and early literacy and numeracy experiences, all within a fun, friendly, family centred environment.
About the Program
Launch into Learning (LIL) is a welcoming and inclusive program that helps families connect with one another and with the broader Dominic College community. It supports children’s development across all domains—social, emotional, physical, and cognitive—while reinforcing the College’s Catholic and Salesian values.
The program is designed to be fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, encouraging a lifelong love of learning. It also empowers parents and carers to support their child’s growth and learning in meaningful ways.
The program is open to pre-kinder children and their parents, relatives or carers and is free of charge.
